Overview
MatrEX™ Binary Gel is a nitromethane-based energetic product packaged in a two-part, epoxy-style cartridge. The system consists of Part A (the larger compartment) and Part B (the smaller compartment). Both components remain non-explosive flammables until they are combined.
When extruded through the supplied mixing nozzle, the two parts react to produce a high-explosive formulation characterized by high overpressure and high bulk energy, with a consistent detonation velocity. The mixture is ready for immediate use upon leaving the nozzle.
